26/07/2006 - 7AM: My flatmate Marco & I leave Lyon by hitchhiking with the common goal of reaching Lilla, Budapest & the Sziget festival in Hungary by the 9th of August... not that easy for a team composed of two guys wearing either a crazy hairstyle, or a pirate hat :)
In spite of long hours waiting under 36°c along French highways or 9°c under the cold rain of Bratislava suburbs, we finally managed to cross France, Germany, Czech Republic & Slovakia and reach Budapest, after 10 marvellous exhausting days on the road partying every night with cool members from the hospitality club :D
In spite of being a bit too much commercial, Sziget festival, its 32 stages & nearly 400 concerts, was a great week & place to discover new musics or enjoy artists such as Radiohead, Placebo, Goran Bregovic, Susheela Raman, ...
